Life on a highway in Utah

On Saturday Isaac and I went on a day motorcycle trip with some friends and his friend's co-workers. I can't discolse where his friend work - i can only say that they work for the government and cameras are not allowed on the premises.

It was so much fun! We started in Salt Lake, went west by Eagle Mountain, stopped at a fort - can't remember the name, but they had boy scouts there shooting BB guns and stuff. We went and looked around in the museum they had there and even stopped to crawl inside these little tents.

Then we went past Vernon (anyone know where Vernon is?) and stopped at a gas station in Silver Sage. I kid you not - the only thing there was this gas station. It had one pump.

Then we continued on to Eureka/Tintic, stopped to look at Porter Rockwell's log cabin and to take some great pics of the town.

I wish i could post all of the pics i took there - this was a great place for a photo op.

We went to the local high school where we had lunch and a raffle drawing for great prizes. Everyone there won a prize. Isaac got a gift certificate to a great steak restaturant and I won a gift certificate to Alta for brunch for two.

After the long break for lunch we jumped back on our bikes and drove east to the south end of Utah lake, drove around the west side of the lake back to Lehi and then north to home. It was a great day - but very tiring.

take me out to the ball game.....

Now don't let my cool and calm demeanor fool you - life is hectic right now!
So its times like these that you just have to go to a Bees game with your sister.

I'm too sexy for my.....

Now, I have to explain this picture.
Well, it can pretty much explain itself - I am hot.
:)
Ok really - Isaac took this picture the other night at his nephew's birthday party we were at. He got a digital camera a few months ago and he just loves to take pictures. I feel like I'm always posing for a photo shoot. Except I liked this picture of myself - which never happens - I hate pictures of myself. And because this one turned out I thought - might as well share it with the world.
Enjoy.

my *new* favorite place -

please check out this link -
if this link works - you'll notice that it takes you to a picture of my *new* favorite spot. it is in the bottom left hand corner of the park - the clump of trees. for those of you who've been to my apartment - you'll see that it is right across the street from my apartment, in the right hand corner. (if you look close enough - you might see me waving from my house)
i found this place last night during FHE and then took Isaac there afterwards. we sat and talked and watched the lights from the baseball diamond. it was awesome - the perfect night to be outside.
if this link doesn't work - stop by my place sometime and i'll take you on a walk to see it - it is beautiful!
