baby news -

baby is doing great! i heard the heart beat again this morning at the dr's office. so nice to know the little alien is still there.

i've stopped throwing up - knock on wood! and am starting to feel better.

a few weeks ago was my mom and bro-in-law's birthdays. so we celebrated as a family and went bowling. awe-some!

the best day ever - and the brother's bike race

o.k. you know it's going to be a sweet day when you wake up with a headache and you can't even open your eyes. then, after a few more hours of sleep, you get up, get ready for work, drive in to work and spill your drink down the front of your shirt and all over the console of your car - that's when you know - it's going to be a sweet day. but it's o.k.! i look nice and professional wearing a hoody over my spilled-on shirt. nice.

last weekend we went to watch the brother ride in his last cyclo-cross race of the season. now, if you've never heard of this sport - don't lose sleep over it.
basically you ride your bike over whatever kind of terrain they decide to use to see who can finish the most laps in 40 minutes. of course, snow does have a negative effect on your overall finishing time. but who cares? you're having fun while doing it! and everyone watching thinks you're nuts for doing it. :)
all-in-all, good times for everyone.
