brrrr! does it get this cold in hawaii? i think not.

my friend-since-birth Katie and her husband Zack came into town this weekend to celebrate her birthday. we went to a party for her and for halloween - everyone was dressed up and it was so much fun!

ignore my psychotic look, o.k.? apparently i was really happy about something.

we carved pumpkins on sunday -

the finished project - ew! soooo scary!

grandpa and the youngest grandbaby

in the midst of these fun activities, we had the joy of dealing with a clogged kitchen sink for 2 days! thanks goodness for "the snake" - it saved our bacon!

my family dressed up - but we did have one yellow M & M missing - he was having a moment

the chubbers and the fairy princess

the grandkids on the hubbers side of the family
thanks everyone - we had a super-scary time with you all!!!
and - for your absolute enjoyment - here is this week's supercalifragalisticexpialidocious recipe - i made it 2 times in 3 days - it was that good!
Amazing salad from Amanda Z. (i don't know if it has a name, really)
1 large carton of whipping cream - whipped and sweetened with about 3-4 cups powdered sugar
add:
4 bananas, sliced
1 larger bag of frozen raspberries, slightly thawed
1 larger bag of marshmallows
mix everything and go to Heaven
both times i made it the rapsberries were still a little frozen and everyone said they liked them that way.
make it
salivate
eat some more
salivate
and eat lots more
