this last weekend was an exciting one. just goes to show that life keeps going for everyone all the time.
on friday i took the day off of work and isaac and i spent it doing nothing - and it was awesome!! we went to a matinee, went out to lunch at a dive, went window shopping, took a nap, went to the condo for the night and watched another movie.
but during our fun day - things were happening to everyone else. zane had shoulder surgery and lori started having contractions. my mom was a busy lady on friday worrying about her kids.
on saturday we went to the outlet malls in p.c. and the power went out in all the stores so that ended our shopping spree earlier than i would have liked - but i'm sure isaac was relieved.
on sunday we had a picnic with the Tamales and celebrated Niki's birthday, too, and got to see Critter again. by the way - critter is not his real name, but it might as well be, because we all call him Critter.
all in all - it was a great weekend and we got to relax and have fun together. but alas, monday morning always comes and we have to get back into the routine.

Bleh. Weekends are the best... too bad work gets in the way! And I can't tell you how glad I am that you cleared up the nickname of Critter. I really have been wondering if that was his real name :-)
How are Zane and Lori?
