we started the festivities with some s'mores.
and some good 'ol fashion milk for the chubbers.
i was posing.
i promise.
the next morning, after we froze all night long, we went outside to warm up and ride horses.
isn't she a cute little cowgirl? love it. one day she'll be riding the frontier.
yep. he's awesome. i color coordinated his outfits all weekend long. well, as long as he hadn't had a blow-out and i had to put him in whatever i could find.
somebody found a chocolate cookie
we went on a walk in the woods to see the area. at one point the hubbers came up to me and said "aren't you glad you aren't pregnant anymore?" and i said "well, yeah, except right now i kind of feel like i still am". i loved carrying the chubbers this way - he slept through the whole walk.
Miss Fannie takes a self portrait picture
the boys LOVED the horses.
did i mention the boys LOVED the horses?
this one asked the hubbers how much a horse would cost. he said "is it like $500? or $1000?" good guess.
then, after they had gotten home he asked his mom if they could get a horse and keep it in the backyard.
our little family.
i cannot get a picture without the hubbers always closing his eyes in it. i can't figure out how to get him to keep his eyes open. the chubbers had an excuse - he was asleep.
all in all, a FANTASTIC weekend getaway.
