this last weekend i had to go to a meeting so i was on the road bright and early. and what a BEAUTIFUL morning it was. i almost called the hubbers to have him wake up and look out the window. i love living close to the mountains where i can see such beautiful scenery. it had rained during the night and this is what it looked like. i know the pics don't do it justice, but you get the idea. nice and eerie for the Halloween season.

our nephew got baptized on saturday. it was so awesome to be there with our family and celebrate this milestone in his life. i didn't realize it until the next day, but i didn't even get a pic of the baptism boy.

i think this might be my fav pic of the hubbers and chubbers so far.

now - you have to look close to what the chubbers is doing in this pic. he has his right foot stuck in a box. he kept putting his foot in this and then shaking it off. he thought he was so funny - and he was!
last night we got to babysit our nephews. we had pizza and played twister. how long has it been since you played that game????

this is right before the chubbers cheated (like always) and pushed the kids over.

even the chubbers got in on the twister action. really though - he actually couldn't figure out what we were doing and we were laughing so hard and having fun - it scared him and he started crying. :(

but then he was all smiles once we took a pic of him, too.
as for this week's recipe - this is one of my favs! i made it for the baptism this weekend.
