another picture post -

well, here are some pics from the weekend.

we were able to finally get out and have some fun in the snow. i've been so excited to play in the snow with the chubbers. but i'm not sure he knew what to do about it all. he loves to walk in it when he's not dressed up for it, but as soon as i put on his bibs and boots - he doesn't want to touch it.

after about 2 minutes - he gave up and started to go back to the dry parking lot out front, probably looking for some puddles to stomp in.

so i brought him back and made a mini snowman for him.

you can't really see the snowman in these pics - sorry. but he did have arms sticking out.

and i guess his arms were scary cause the chubbers didn't like it.

sad, sad day.

On a happier note - our little Vai guy came out to grandma's house for a family get-together. one of the other cousins said "mom - now the chubbers isn't the littlest baby here any more".

and - on a side note - i just wanted you to all know that our missionary brother is alive and well.

please don't worry about him not getting enough to eat.

i don't normally post these pics here in the main body of a post. usually i put them up on the top left side so you can see what kinds of entertainment we are subjecting ourselves to.
but today i wanted to draw special attention to this:



we watched this movie with the chubbers yesterday.
have you seen this movie?
i'm not sure why - but i LOVED this movie.
i have been singing the songs in my head and wanting to go to Brazil since we saw it.
it was such a catchy little movie - and so clean. hardly any scary things or sad things in it at all. which, for me as a mom, was so enjoyable! i loved not having to worry about the chubbers while he watched it.
i'm thinking i'll be picking this little gem up the next time we head to our local shopping establishment. and if anyone wants to join me for Carnival - i'm in! i've got my costume all ready.
