so the hubbers and the chubbers set out to build him one. i should have been worried when i looked out and saw this at the beginning of the project. see the chubbers - he's small. and that frame for the dog house is not small.
here is the finished product. it took 4 grown men to move it into place. but i do have to say - it is an amazing piece of work. the hubbers really, really far exceeded my expectations on this project. i mean, i knew he had it in him - but i was just so impressed as i watched him build it and see it all come together. he did such a great job and i am seriously so impressed with him. i loved watching him build this and am so proud to have him and his mad building skills in my world. and don't worry - the term "you're in the dog house" does not scare either one of us now - cause that just means we get to go hang out in this awesome thing.
and yes - the dog does have cable and a hot tub out back. :)
and just to show how fast time goes by -
this picture was taken with my oldest friend Katie Sue last October - almost 1 year ago.
and this picture of us was taken just last week. isn't that crazy????? we both have baby boys who are a few months old now. it absolutely blows my mind how fast time goes - and how awesome it is to be a mom. i loved being pregant at the same time Katie was - who would have ever guessed that would have happened? and it was so awesome to (finally!) meet her little J man - he is so sweet and has the most adorable face! i can tell he is going to accomplish great things in his life. and who wouldn't with a mom as awesome as Katie? i sure wish they lived closer - but i can understand how living right next to the ocean might want to make them stay where they are. :)
