the post-it note man, the love-singers, and a lame cop

well, i guess i'll tell you all how AWESOME the Air Supply concert in Wendover was. IT WAS AWESOME! we made a long drive for a short show and turned around to drive home. it's true - we left at about 6:30 and were home by 11:30. but it was a great way to spend a friday night. I had never been to Wendover before and it had been a long time since Isaac had been there. we got there a little late for the 8:00 concert and they were already on stage! no opening act for these guys. now, i am being 100% completely serious when i say this - Air Supply was AWESOME! for a couple of old guys - they really know how to belt out the love ballads. i have a new warm spot in my heart for their music.











yep - the show was sold out!! and it was a doozy!



i saw this licence plate in the parking lot after the show - kind of made me laugh.
most of the cars in the parking lot had Utah plates. go figure.

Then this very morning i went out to my car and found this:

last night Isaac had told me that i better get up a little early this morning and i didn't know why. well, it was to take off about a gazillion post it notes from the inside of my car. last night he had gone and done this while i was inside making banana bread. what a nice surprise this morning!!!








all of them said "i love you". i wonder how long it took him to write all of these out.


what a sweet thing for him to do - i REALLY appreciate his creativity and patience to do this.

so the day started off great - until a stupid cop, who is just doing his job, pulled me over for speeding. but the thing is - i couldn't have been speeding because of where i was driving. but whatever - i'll take it. grrr.....thanks for ruining my post-it note moment. lame Copper.
