the Easter Egg Roll - explained

sorry i didn't explain this better - here is a little more explanation about what the Easter Egg Roll entails:

first of all, you boil your eggs and then dye them like when you were a kid. we like to dye ours and then name them - so we know which eggs win and which don't. if they lose - you can sometimes blame it on the name. :)

then you get together at the family party on Easter Sunday.

after you eat a really good dinner, everyone gets their eggs out for battle.

two people at a time pick one of their eggs that they think is going to win, kneel down, count to three and then roll their eggs at each other. the one that cracks loses and the winner goes on to battle more people until their egg finally cracks.

and that's what the egg roll is.
it's awesome because kids, teenagers, adults and grandparents alike can participate. and it's cheap - eggs are only like $1.50 a dozen. but if you want pretty eggs, you have to wait for Easter time so you can buy the cool dyes for them.

so - that's what it is. nice, clean fun. and then when you're done - you can make deviled eggs to eat.
