carrying on -

we've been busy lately - so i haven't had a chance to post any pics.
so - here are a bunch to catch up.

someone likes to "help" cook now. he's really good at splashing water all over the sink.

hungry?

Grandma D had a birthday last week. we love our grandma - she's one great lady!

the chubbers and i got to go on a business trip with the hubbers last week. the chubbers loved lounging around the hotel room.

we had a picnic in our hotel room. nothin' like pb and h sandwiches

i figured we had been couped up in our hotel room long enough so i let the chubbers have a roll of paper towels to play with.

this is what he had done 30 seconds later........

cruisin in the car

the poor hubbers had to be our driver for the week.

"what?"
apparently the chubbers just takes whatever he wants now. funny thing is - the hubbers thought i had just given him this and let him eat it. um - no. i don't usually give my child a doughnut right before dinner. someone is getting too big for their britches. he can reach up on most of our counters now and grab whatever he wants. which is exactly what he does.

this is just sweet proof for me - i beat the hubbers at our bowling game this weekend. i know my score isn't great - but for me, it's the simple fact that i beat the hubbers.
one of the first times we hung out together we went bowling with a bunch of friends. i was trying to flirt with him so i said - i bet you a steak dinner that i can beat you. well, he showed no mercy that night, my friends. he was totally ruthless and didn't even give me a chance. in the end he did take me out for dinner - so i guess that made up for the pain of being totally schooled by him at the bowling alley that night. and all these years later - we still love to go bowling together.

good thing it snowed yesterday. the chubbers has been dying to use his new snow boots.

- Time to Vote -
who looks better in my beanie?

we had fun posing for these pics last night. the hubbers didn't want me to take his pic - but he was a good sport and let me snap a few of him.

Your little boy is such a doll. I think he wins the cutest in your beanie.
