this is a pic of one of the hubbers grandparents. isn't it so romantic?!??!?! i mean - check out that veil! she is like floating in a big cloud of lace and simplicity! don't they look like movie stars from the 50's??? wow. i'm just speechless on how great these pictures are. last night we saw pictures of his other grandparents, which i haven't been able to scan in yet, but WOW! they are awesome, too. makes me wish i could have been a bride in the 50's when weddings were a very formal and social affair. they had their reception in the bride's parent's house. just like you imagine - clear out the furniture, bring in the decorations, set out all the china and gifts for everyone to admire when they came to the party, put the wedding announcement in the paper, and let the happily ever after begin!
so. back to 2012.
the year when we entertain our child with a laundry basket.
he loves to sit in things. can't figure it out. but his FAVORITE spot is the dirty laundry basket. in and out. in and out. throw the clothes on the floor for mom to pick up time and time again.
i know his eyes are closed - he gets that from the hubbers. but he's such a cutie pie.

yesterday my nephew was ordained a deacon! a deacon?!?! what?!?!? i remember the day he was born!
